CEO and Co-Founder Reify Health

Ralph Passarella is the CEO and Co-Founder of Reify Health, where he and his team are working to accelerate the development of new, life-saving therapies. Reify’s technology connects the workflows of biopharmaceutical companies and clinical trial sites around the globe to streamline their work together and cut down the time it takes to complete trials. Thousands of research sites and many of the largest biopharma companies in over 50 countries rely on Reify Health’s products to enroll their clinical trials effectively and conduct high quality research.
Through their work at Reify, Ralph and team also co-founded Signal Vine, an education technology company helping students navigate the administrative parts of higher education. Signal Vine works with hundreds of colleges and college access organizations to help millions of students around the US matriculate to college and persist through for their degree. Ralph currently serves on the Signal Vine Board of Directors.
Prior to starting Reify Health, Ralph graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BA in Molecular and Cellular Biology and completed the first two years of the MD/PhD program at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Before putting his studies on pause, Ralph’s work as an entrepreneur and researcher was recognized nationally by the National Cancer Institute, the American Medical Informatics Association, and the Clinical Global Initiative. His undergraduate work in radiation-guided chemotherapeutic drug delivery was recognized as the Most Outstanding Undergraduate Research in the nation by the American Association for Cancer Research as well.

Head of the Neurology and Regenerative Medicine Centers of Excellence and Director of Program Development Biorasi

Head of the Neurology and Regenerative Medicine Centers of Excellence and Associate Director of Program Development at Biorasi. As head of Biorasi’s Neurology and Regenerative Medicine Centers of Excellence, Dr. El Hokayem oversees clinical projects related to neurological indications and therapies. His unique expertise in the basic, translational, and clinical research spectrum provides critical insights at strategic, operational, and managerial levels. He is an expert clinical trial decentralizer and an early adopter of digital technologies and digital therapeutics.
With over twenty years’ experience in both academia and clinical research, Dr. El Hokayem has focused his research on rare neurological diseases. He currently serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST). Dr. El Hokayem has published over twenty peer reviewed papers and received multiple awards from international foundations and entities.
Dr. El Hokayem received his Ph.D. from University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He continued his training with post-doctoral work at the University’s Hussman Institute for Human Genomics.

William Blumentals

Head of Pharmacoepidemiology Sanofi Genzyme

William Blumentals is the Head of Pharmacoepidemiology at Sanofi Genzyme in the Epidemiology and Benefit-Risk Team and based in Cambridge, MA. While leading Sanofi Genzyme, Willy was also the Interim Head of Pharmacoepidemiology for General Medicines and Consumer Healthcare. Willy has over 18 years of experience working in pharma companies on Pharmacoepidemiology to support Drug Safety, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Commercial. Previously, he served as an epidemiology director and safety epidemiology lead at Shire. Other recent positions included Shionogi, where Willy established a new global epidemiology department; introducing and developing epidemiology recognition during an 18-month appointment in Osaka, Japan. He also served as Global Head of Epidemiology for Virology and Transplant and Administrative Site Head at Hoffmann-La Roche in Nutley, New Jersey. 
Willy received his doctoral degree in epidemiology from the University of South Florida, and holds an M.S. in statistics from Temple University, and an M.P.H. in epidemiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Global Head for Clinical Digital Innovation Sanofi

Within the Sanofi platform for Clinical Sciences & Operations, Terttu Haring leads a small team focused on delivering innovations to the portfolio of development projects, across all departments. Terttu has 20 years’ experience in Clinical development in different roles such as principal investigator in a clinical research centre, therapeutic director in a CRO, country and regional head for clinical study units in Sanofi and global head for Trial Operations (including data management) in Sanofi. She graduated from Maastricht University in the Netherlands as a Medical Doctor and spent several years in surgery and Ob/Gyn clinics before joining the pharmaceutical clinical development ecosystem.
Leveraging her experience as a PI, the wellbeing of patients and the support of investigators in trials has been a driving force in Terttu work in the industry. With the development and implementation of innovations along the development journey she aims to make clinical trials ready for the future – a mission that has gained urgency as the global pandemic has propelled the healthcare industry into the 21st century in unprecedented ways.

Bio: Dr. Amir Lahav is a leading innovator, brain scientist, and an internationally acclaimed advisor in digital health innovation. He has 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, academic research, clinical trial innovation, and AI-driven technology. Amir’s visionary leadership and changemaker mentality help mobilize the adoption of digital transformation and virtual health. In addition to holding Advisory Board roles at multiple Medtech companies, Amir is also a distinguished consultant to technology startups, pharmaceutical companies, and healthcare organizations including Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma, Global Alzheimer’s Platform Foundation, Redenlab, and SoloAI to name a few. Formerly, Amir was the Head of Digital Innovation at Pfizer focusing primarily on rare neuromuscular diseases. Prior to pharma, Amir was a professor of pediatrics and neurology faculty at Harvard Medical School where he served as a PI on multiple technology-driven clinical trials.

Jim Marshall is a performance-driven Supply Chain leader with over 20 years of experience in the BioPharmaceutical industry. Materials Management expert who has led the implementation of an SAP ERP system in a commercial environment utilizing both in-house and external manufacturing. Experienced in supplier auditing and qualification processes, sourcing and management of CMOs, and the use of QRM and OpEx to manage the end to end supply chain. Well-developed leadership skills that include formulation and deployment of strategy, succession planning and talent development, operational budget responsibility and ensuring compliance with Corporate Standards and cGMP/ICH regulations. A compliance-minded individual with strong knowledge of cGMPs, global regulatory requirements, and an understating of how they impact the supply chain. Demonstrated capability in a primary engagement role representing supply chain and functional operations to external regulatory agencies.
